Art is good.

Danielle and I recently went to the Museum of Glass art in Tacoma, WA. Tacoma, by the way, is the most divided, bi polar city I've ever experienced. Half of the buildings are empty and condemned/falling apart. The other half are like this:


And decorated with Dale Chihuly's glass like so:

(you cant tell from the photo, but this is a view straight up of the roof of a covered walking bridge. The glass is suspended behind a grid of plexiglass and steel)

The glass museum is amazing! Most of it's space is dedicated to a theater hot room - you watch glass artists at work. Danielle and I saw several people she knew from Mass Art making 3 foot tall bell jars and giant ticks.


I haven't worked on it in a while, but I have all these sketches of creatures for nick's story that I thought I'd share. (not listed in order of development or importance.)
